Hello again! I decided not to wait another 8 months to post again... so here we go with a little update on little Chisholms!

First, a Daniel story... my favorite of the week! We are playing with Mr. Potato Head, and after Daniel poses with my rendition of an decently-arrayed Mr. Potato Head, he gets the sudden urge to take Mr. Potato Head dancing! And so he races to the living room, asks for music, and begins to waltz around the room carefully with his new partner. About 30 seconds into it, he goes over to the couch, puts his companion down, and proceeds to tell him, "Here, we need to take off your hands," while surgically removing his purple, lifeless limbs. He then starts to dance with his partner again. Finding Mr. Potato Head still too encumbered by so many accessories such as eyes, a nose, mouth, hat, etc., he proceeds to quickly and efficiently completely dismember Mr. Potato Head while exclaiming, "Here, we need to take all of this off!" Then, Daniel goes back to the middle of the living room, and with his nameless/faceless Potato partner begins to gently waltz him around the room again, with a large smile. Yes, this is pleasure for sure.
Joel wants to do what Daniel does, play where Daniel plays, eat what Daniel eats... yes, he is a faithful student of Daniel Chisholm. I am enjoying his developing personality. He is such a little ham, is rarely caught without a smile, and produces a cute, high-pitched "HI!" whenever he sees us for the first time if we've been away for awhile. He can pack twice or thrice the amount of food the older, wiser Chisholm son can, and would happily stay at the table for bonus servings if Daniel stayed longer. But alas, Daniel, being older and wiser, knows there's more to life than eating, and can't endure his brief necessary collisions with mealtimes longer than necessary. At least he is asking to be excused from the table now before departure. :)

Yay! I've been thinking of the whole Chisholm family lately. It's good to know the boys are thriving! And you, too, I hope. All my love.
