Family

Hey Folks. Here we are about to go for a walk in the neighborhood. So Deborah came with the boys to visit me at Starbucks Saturday. And Daniel was talking to one of my co-workers. Daniel is so cute and he continues to get better at conversation and he has more and more understanding of what is going on. He said, "Outside! I play football outside!" as he pointed outside. So let me tell you a little bit about Daniel football.

Daniel's version of football is of course not quite up to the complexity of real American style football, but it is perhaps more fun. He will grab his little football and run around on the grass. He wants to be tackled. You can have unlimited fumbles. Whether I am on Daniel's team and should try to catch the pass or whether I should be the one trying to tackle him changes moment by moment. A lot of time is spent laughing and rolling around on the ground. Once the rolling around is done then it is time to run around some more. "Football! I play football outside!"
