"More liver. I--WANT--MORE LIV--VER!!!"Music to my ears! No joke, my toddler just exclaimed this after a nutrient-dense meal of chicken liver and heart. It was of course sauteed in tons of butter and onions... mmm... ;) We split the meal; I settled for the onions. :) I think he takes after his grandpa and grandma Smith in his pure enjoyment of liver...
[Trivia: Did you know that liver is the most nutrient-dense food one can consume? Hence our adoption of this stuff as sustenance this year. It used to make me quite squeamish but now I actually enjoy it, too... dare I say, even crave it??]

Here are some other Danielisms Dave and I have enjoyed this week:
"Thank you, mommy, you're WEL-come, mommy!" Apparently since I usually say "you're welcome" after Daniel thanks me for something, he's picked it up and lumps the two together.
"NBA! Watch NBA!" We have a few NBA movies featuring Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls during their glory days... he totally loves these films. Oh yes, we are still enjoying slow-motion dunks here in our basement...
"POOPIE! Mommy, I poopie!" Oh no! I realize my son is diaper-less in the living room while he is shouting this out. He is so sneaky...
And this one completely surprised me this morning: "OK, here's how it works." Daniel was showing me how to combine kombucha, milk and orange-pineapple juice in a citrus juicer. What? :) Well, anyway, he's heard daddy use this phrase when he's trying to get Daniel to "respond."
And on a totally different note, CONGRATULATIONS to Aunt J on her recent engagement to BTP! We love you and are so happy for you!!!

Cuteness! :) And thanks by the way, for talking me through all the mastitis stuff the other night. It was definitely a plugged duct, but I got it in time! YEAH! I appreciate you!
Liver?!? Grandpa Smith?!? The two never meet. The only time I get close to liver is when I pull the giblets out of a chicken carcass.
Maybe I should serve liver at my wedding. :)
Can't wait to see you and talk to you about the engagement!
I really like the poopie story. And the "Ok, this is how it works." :)
